UV print atelier
Your art,
off paper.
Ciconiq is a small UV print studio for anyone with something worth printing. Your art, your photos, your logo — straight onto wood, acrylic, metal, glass — and stranger things — with white ink, gloss varnish, and file prep done obsessively.
- BED — A3
- ROTARY — BOTTLES & TUMBLERS

01 — Anatomy of a print
Built in layers.
Cured in light.
UV printing lays ink onto the surface and cures it instantly under ultraviolet light. Nothing soaks in — every pass sits exactly where we put it. That means color on black, white on clear, gloss where you want the eye to go. Pull a print apart:
-
01 · Substrate
The material itself. If it's reasonably flat and fits the bed — or round enough to spin on the rotary — it prints.
-
02 · White underbase
A white silhouette of your artwork, printed first — so color stays loud on dark or transparent surfaces.
-
03 · Color pass
Your artwork, color-managed from file to ink. This is where most of the prep work lives.
-
04 · Gloss varnish
A clear pass on top: spot gloss, raised texture, embossed lines you can feel.
02 — Material index
Surfaces we speak.
Got something weirder? Tiles, coasters, hip flasks, notebook covers, tool handles — if it fits the A3 bed or spins on the rotary, we'll test it.

What leaves the studio.
Editions
Numbered, consistent runs of your work. Same color, same gloss, first print to last.
One-offs
Single pieces, commissions, prototypes, gifts. The weird jobs are the fun ones.
Proofs & tests
Every run starts with one physical proof. You approve it — or we tune and reprint. No surprises at pickup.
04 — Process
Four steps.
One proof. No surprises.

1
Send the file
Any format you have. We'll tell you honestly if it won't hold up at size.
-
2
We prep
White-ink mask, varnish plate, color profile per material. This is the part most shops rush. We don't.
-
3
One proof
A physical proof in your hands — or your inbox — before any run.
-
4
Delivery
Printed, cured, packed. Storks deliver — it's kind of our whole thing.
05 — The name
Why “Ciconiq”?
From Ciconia ciconia — the white stork. It wears our exact palette: white body, black flight feathers, one red accent. It nests where it's welcome and comes back every year. And, famously, it delivers.

you're making.
Send a sketch, a file, or just the idea and the surface you want it on. You'll get a straight answer and a real quote — not a form letter.
