Ciconiq is a small studio with three trades and one job: the face of your business. Signs, merch and product UV-printed in-house on almost any surface. NFC cards and stands that tap straight to your links. And the small, fast websites those links open. All of it made in-house, without agency prices.

01 — Anatomy of a print

Built in layers.
Cured in light.

UV printing lays ink onto the surface and cures it instantly under ultraviolet light. Nothing soaks in — every pass sits exactly where we put it. That means color on black, white on clear, gloss where you want the eye to go. Pull a print apart:

  1. 01 · Substrate

The material itself. If it's reasonably flat and fits the bed — or round enough to spin on the rotary — it prints.

  2. 02 · White underbase

A white silhouette of your artwork, printed first — so color stays loud on dark or transparent surfaces.

  3. 03 · Color pass

Your artwork, color-managed from file to ink. This is where most of the prep work lives.

  4. 04 · Gloss varnish

A clear pass on top: spot gloss, raised texture, embossed lines you can feel.

02 — Material index

Surfaces we speak.

01 · CAST ACRYLICColor floats behind glass-like faces. Backlit-friendly.
02 · BIRCH PLYGrain shows through thin ink — or white base where it shouldn't.
03 · BRUSHED ALUMINIUMMetal keeps its sheen under translucent ink.
04 · GLASSWhite base makes it read; gloss makes it disappear.
05 · SLATEDark stone, loud color — the white underbase does the shouting.
06 · LEATHERFlexible, printable, oddly luxurious.

Got something weirder? Phone cases, tiles, coasters, hip flasks, notebook covers, tool handles — if it fits the A3 bed or spins on the rotary, we'll test it.

03 — Output

What leaves the studio.

Editions

Numbered, consistent runs of your work. Same color, same gloss, first print to last.

One-offs

Custom phone cases, single pieces, commissions, prototypes and gifts. The weird jobs are the fun ones.

Proofs & tests

Every run starts with one physical proof. You approve it — or we tune and reprint. No surprises at pickup.

04 — NFC

Print you can tap.

A chip under the ink turns a printed object into a link. Tap it with a phone — no app, no typing — and it opens whatever you point it at: your site, your Google review page, a menu, a booking form. We print the object, program the chip, test every tap, and write-lock it so nobody can quietly point your card somewhere else. Cards and stands post UK-wide, worldwide on request.

Business cards

Black PVC, white ink, your brand. One tap and your details are on their phone — the card stays in the wild, still working.

Cards & stands

Counter and table stands that tap through to whatever you choose — a Google review page, a menu, a booking link. The easiest way to catch a customer before they leave.

Tags & stranger things

Keyrings, pet tags, equipment labels, gallery cards for your prints. If it holds a chip and fits the bed, it can carry a link.

05 — Web

The page the tap opens.

A card is half the trick — the link needs somewhere to land. We build small, fast sites for the same businesses whose cards we print: one-pagers, menus, booking pages, review funnels. Hand-coded, not assembled in a page builder.

One-pagers

A single confident page: who you are, what you do, how to reach you. Live in days, loads in under a second.

Card + page bundles

The NFC card and its landing page designed as one object — same type, same colors, both ends of the tap from one studio.

Tune-ups

Already have a site? We'll make it faster, cleaner, and worth pointing a chip at.

The portfolio? You're on it. This page is drawn in code by hand — same as everything we ship.

06 — Process

Four steps.
One proof. No surprises.

  1. 1

    Send the file

Any format you have. We'll tell you honestly if it won't hold up at size.

  2. 2

    We prep

White-ink mask, varnish plate, color profile per material. This is the part most shops rush. We don't.

  3. 3

    One proof

A physical proof in your hands — or your inbox — before any run.

  4. 4

    Delivery

Printed, cured and packed in Leeds — delivered UK-wide. Storks deliver — it's kind of our whole thing.

07 — The name

Why “Ciconiq”?

From Ciconia ciconia — the white stork. It wears our exact palette: white body, black flight feathers, one red accent. It nests where it's welcome and comes back every year. And, famously, it delivers.

08 — Start a job

Tell us what
you're making.

Send a sketch, a file, or just the idea and the surface you want it on. You'll get a straight answer and a real quote — not a form letter.
